Type: Contract W/ Option To Hire
Location: 350 N Clark St, Chicago, IL
5-10 years of solid PM experience in SW Development, Agile experience preferred. Proven record in executing projects and delivering results. Good understanding of relational databases, development and technical background is preferred. Comfortable presenting to senior executives, worked in large global project setting, energetic, result oriented and having the ability to manage multiple projects.
A leading international management consulting organization is seeking an Agile Project Manager with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. The right candidate has experience leading project delivery in an extremely fast-paced environment and has the desire to play a critical role in releasing innovative technology solutions.
Client expects this Agile PM consultant to be detail-oriented, aggressive, and passionate about process. Someone dedicated to leading, planning and executing technology projects that are delivered on time and with exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
• Lead project, release, and iteration planning while proactively managing scope, risk, quality, and resource allocation
• Drive accountability throughout all functional areas
• Communicate project status, risk, milestones and issues
• Draw upon experience with different software development methodologies to manage, build and adapt processes as a template for repeatable project execution
• Manage multiple business-critical technology projects concurrently
Requirements:
• 6-10 years+ experience in the management of software development and/or technology projects
• Highly developed organizational and communication skills, including very strong presentation skills to executive leadership
• Solid understanding of relational database; technical background a plus.
• Experienced in large global project setting, energetic, result oriented, ability to manage multiple projects.
• Very strong MS Office knowledge and experience
• Sound understanding of fundamentals of internet and technology spaces
• Experience with multiple development methodologies, including Agile
• PMP certification a plus
