Title: Client Services Administrator (56-16)

Summary: Wealth/investment management firm seeks a Client Services Administrator who will be responsible for administration of individual client portfolios: client service/trading activity/month-end closing/cash monitoring/preparing performance reports/reconciling statements. This position reports to the Principal, Senior Portfolio Manager.

Responsibilities:
Open new client accounts; administer assets by auditing daily trade activity; identify errors/reconcile discrepancies
Provide assistance to Portfolio Managers: monitor account restrictions/guidelines; prepare trading allocation programs; prepare/distribute quarterly commentaries
Produce various client-related internal/external reports and client service meeting packets
Fulfill requests by clients on a daily basis
Provide daily assistance to Portfolio Managers with telephone coverage/written communications/reports
Ensure training/familiarity with accounts of fellow teammates to provide back-up/expansion capabilities for team
Maintain and foster team-oriented attitude; work in conjunction with fellow team members in self-managed team environment
Take calls directly from clients/accountants/lawyers and resolve all non-investment matters independently, informing PM for informational purposes only
Audit account activity; identify/resolve discrepancies; calculate and process statistical data/reports
Periodically provide coverage for front desk/reception

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Finance, Accounting, or related preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of prior experience in Portfolio Administration at an investment firm or in a trust/pension plan setting
Prior experience with and strong working knowledge of different account types (trusts/retirement accounts) performance/attributes/guidelines/account restrictions, particularly servicing individual accounts
Must have good working knowledge of financial markets/investment vehicles/strategies
Proficiency with trading systems (like Longview/Moxy) and experience with accounting systems (similar to Portia) strongly preferred; familiarity with Vermilion preferred but not required
Experience with MS Outlook/PowerPoint/Word/Excel
Successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with ability to juggle multiple tasks independently, organize/prioritize workflow, communicate effectively/constructively within team/department/firm and possess strong attention to detail
Must possess strong analytical and number crunching skills and ability to “think outside the box” and develop creative solutions to issues as they arise.

SUMMARY:
Global financial services firm seeks a Compliance Analyst to provide day-to-day compliance function support to the Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Compliance Officer in the Legal/Compliance Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Senior Margin Associate, Chicago

Manage all margin and non-purpose lending on a daily basis, including identifying and communicating house and regulatory margin calls to advisors

Global investment management firm seeks a Trade Operations Analyst who will be responsible for all post execution trade life-cycle activities and ensuring that the investment book of record (IBOR) is accurate at all times.

Responsibilities:

Project Manager under direction, is responsible for the overall planning, management and completion of multiple IT Infrastructure and/or Application Development projects of small to medium size and wide variety of complexity and length. Works with customers to develop project scope of work documents and project plans. Uses project management skills to manage project roles, identify resource requirements, meet training needs, define project deliverables, provide customer satisfaction and reporting structures and insure quality of projects. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, plus 4+ years of work experience in a similar field.
-Ability to identify key issues, gather and analyze data to support hypotheses and develop actionable recommendations
-Possess strong interviewing, listening, observational, facilitation, interpersonal, and process modeling skills.
-Excellent organizational and project management skills
-Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem solving skills
-Effective time management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Summary/Responsibilities:
Provide financial analysis of firm's financial performance as measured against plan and market benchmarks
Prepare annual budget and investment income plan
Prepare analyses relating to Assets Under Management
Utilize expertise to provide counselling on accounting issues
Lead the process to develop the annual plan of consolidated net investment income
Determine best approach to project investment income for each asset type
Solicit input from senior management on assumptions/projections

Prepare quarterly key performance indicator analysis consisting of contribution margins for various investment types, expenses to assets, investment income to assets, and other measures
Prepare additional monthly and quarterly management analysis reports and supporting schedules as necessary. Ensure all data and information is complete, accurate and prepared in a timely manner. Actively participate in the analysis of emerging results
Assist in the completion of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules within established procedures and guidelines
Assist with special projects
Assist in determining appropriate accounting treatment for new investment vehicles and technical, procedural and application expertise on special requests
Research IFRS and Statutory accounting and coordinating with outside auditors on appropriate treatment or assisting with regulatory inquiries, alternative investments, derivative strategies or “what if” financial analysis

Requirements:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in asset management industry or public accounting (with investment management exposure) required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
CPA Preferred / MBA Preferred
Proficiency in Excel and Access required
Experience using Accounting Software (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics AX (DAX), Great Plains, Quickbooks, SAP, etc.)
Previous experience using TM1 strongly preferred
Experience in various investment instruments required
Experience in IFRS and Statutory accounting required
Knowledge of internal control processes and procedures required
