Duration: 6+ Month Contract/Contract to Hire
Location: Deerfield, IL
Rate: $50-$65/HR w2 + Benefits Day One of Employment


Highlights: SQL, Selenium, and collaborative / interactive personality

Role: We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team and help develop the next version of their retail analytic software. You will be responsible for developing internal tools that support the daily processing of terabytes of data in their cloud-based offering.

Required:
3-5 years of application testing experience
5 years of automation testing experience
Knowledge of test cases design techniques like boundary, decision tables, and BDD (Behavior Driven Development) / TDD (Test Driven Development)
Experience in writing C# tests
Experience in writing JavaScript / JQuery and knowing when to use those languages to support our testing.
Ability to take task assignments with limited direction from start to finish
Strong experience with writing and debugging SQL queries
Experience with large data set creation, back-end testing (SQL), being able to validate information as it flows throughout the system
Working collaboratively with team members in a dynamic environment
Experience with regression testing, functional testing, unit testing, and end-to-end testing

Preferred:
Experience with big data analysis.
Experience testing web services
Experience testing large complex applications
Excellent problem solving skills
Experience with automated testing techniques and tools is a big plus
Passionate about testing

Job Responsibilities:
The Quality Engineer will work with the development and QA teams to ensure product quality through automation using the various tools such as Visual Studios, Specflow, Selenium, and Webstorm. This individual will be helping to determine data requirements needed for their testing, developing test data, validating data files and workflows, logging and retesting defects, and executing automated test scripts.
