JOB DESCRIPTION 

Job Title: BI Business Analyst.
Job Location: Chicago, IL

Duration:  6 Months Contract.

We are sourcing for a BA with experience in reporting applications (Preference is OBIEE). The person is expected to collaborate with Business to define requirements, be able to negotiate scope and changes with business and technology teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Responsibilities would include Prioritization of technical efforts to meet business priorities.

·         Documenting requirements, decisions, assumptions and changes. Developing estimates with input from technical teams. Managing business expectation throughout the project. Driving UAT process.

·         Understanding of data warehousing concepts, business intelligence / analytics concepts and technical development life cycle.

Required Skills:

·         Formal BA Experience

·         Reporting Application OBIEE

·         Data Warehousing Concepts and

·         BI / Analytics Concepts.

Strong communication skills (verbal/written)

Strong detail-oriented organizational/problem solving skills

Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision, respond to managerial direction, complete tasks on time, and take responsibility for actions

Project management; manage several competing assignments and perform them in an accurate/timely manner

Balances team/individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity/openness to new ideas and welcomes feedback
