Roles: Scrum Master
Location: Groveport, OH.
Duration: 6 Months with possibility of extension or hire

• In the Agile Application Development group, you will work in small teams to directly contribute to new business capabilities, such as building the next generation point of service (POS) system for mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate teams while promoting Agile best practices.
• Participating in the coordination and facilitation of activities for projects and in related release initiatives
• Optimize team performance and ensure a healthy backlog of requirements, including being able to judge story quality and readiness, accepting only those stories that meet the minimum quality for inclusion in an Iteration
• Monitor and report on the status of project efforts
• Encourage collaboration and proactively look for improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with other project leads to effectively manage risks and coordinate mitigation efforts
• Lead the retrospective process and encourage team honesty and transparency Requirements
• Experience with producing metrics such as burn ups, velocity trending, cycle time, etc.
• Experience creating written deliverables to stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to effectively communicate needs and schedules to business stakeholders and technology teams, as well as ensure plans are in place/standards are adhered to • Thorough understanding of what defines a quality story
• Experience working on large-scale projects
• Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Excel, Word, Confluence (WIKI)
