TITLE: Group Manager, Private Equity Services (963-2)
LOCATION: Charlotte, NC
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience
SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall responsibility for service to a group of Private Equity Fund clients
Responsible for management and oversight of staff
Preparation and review of general ledger, financial statements and investor capital accounts
Preparation and review of capital call notices, capital distribution notices and related calculations
Preparation and review of partnership calculations including subsequent closes, management fees, distribution waterfalls and partner allocations
Management of year-end audit processes and tax service providers
Delivery of fund documents and reports to investors
Maintenance of all investor contact information and wire payment information
Resolution of investor queries
Preparation and review of payment of fund expenses
Interact daily with clients and fund counterparties, addressing any issues and concerns
REQUIREMENTS:
A University degree in Business preferably majoring in Accountancy or another financial related program
CPA or similar professional accounting designation strongly preferred
3- 5 years’ relevant experience with private equity fund administration firm, or back office of a private equity fund
1-3 years of experience supervising professional accounting staff preferred
Extensive experience in the preparation and review of financial statements for audit
At least 2 years of audit experience preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be prepared to work extended hours and public holidays as required
