Job Title: - Scrum Master
Job Location: - Lake Forest, IL
Job Type: - Full Time (Permanent)

JD: -

• Enthusiastic leader and coach drive continued adoption of the Agile methodology (Scrum)
• Ensures agile teams properly write, enter and maintain stories in the tool
• Effectively utilize tool to track, manage and communicate team progress
• Actively engaged in understanding the intent of the work being done
• Track, communicate and drive impediment to resolution
• Track, communicate and drive creation of mitigation plans for risks
• Facilitates agile ceremonies and update Kanban board
• Ensure risks and dependencies are appropriately identified, assigned and managed to resolution
• Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution
• Participate in scrum of scrums to communicate and understand dependencies and impacts with other agile teams
• Proactively participate in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices
• Empower the team to self-organize and working within a Project Management Governance systems is required.

The Scrum Master should know:  

• When to lead and when to follow,
• When to be directive and when to encourage collaboration and consensus,
• How to use intrinsic and well as extrinsic motivators to keep people engaged,
• How to engage people's idealism and desire for personal development and growth to develop inspiring visions and passion
• How to empower subordinates and use and develop their ability to self-manage and self-lead
• How to develop a mind-set for learning throughout the organization.
• The Scrum Master will coordinate Release Planning activities as well as lead Sprint Planning and Backlog Grooming activities.
• The Scrum Master will be responsible for reporting on team progress to various levels of management as well as ensure that the development team and business customer have everything they need to succeed, when they need it

Mandatory Functional Skills: -

• Experienced in team management
• Experienced in stake holder management
• Regular reporting
• Actively engage with the client team by Leading in the business process discussions

Desirable Functional Skills: -

• Knowledge of SAP, WM, EWM

Total Experience Required: - 
10 Years in IT, 4-5 years as scrum master
