Senior Agile Consultant - Location: Chicago, IL
Our client located in Chicago, IL is seeking to add a Senior Agile Consultant to their growing Agile Transformation practice. This individual will transform the way their clients work using modern agile product development techniques.
Responsibilities:
Learn everything you can about agility, business, organizational development, process change, and culture
Help individuals improve what they do and how they work as a team
Help organizations move towards modern business practices
Lead formal training courses (requires an instructor presence) around such topics as:
Team dynamics, communication, problem solving and other people-oriented aspects of agility
Scrum, Kanban, and other process-oriented aspects of agility
TDD, CI/CD, modern ALM tools, and other technical-oriented aspects of agility
Provide in-house coaching and mentoring to a variety of cross functional teams within a wide range of companies including evaluation of people, process and tools
Assess organizations’ ability to leverage modern platforms and effective use of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Identify issues and drive change even in tenuous environments
Live and breathe agile concepts and techniques
Skills/Experience:
Prior experience (5+ years) coaching Agile project teams with methods such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, and Lean
Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills
Hands on experience as part of a software development team (roles may vary) ideally in both traditional and agile environments to fully understand key differentiators
