We are looking for an outgoing and motivated developer with strong communication skills who would be excited to work with a group of talented individuals, but more importantly, a strongly-bound team.
We are looking for an outgoing and motivated developer with strong communication skills who would be excited to work with a group of talented individuals, but more importantly, a strongly-bound team.
What You Will Be Doing
-Work closely with clients on engagements to deliver exceptional code and consulting and advice.
-Evangelize development/process best practices to Chromatic’s clients and the community.
-Engage with the open source community via code contributions/projects, presentations, blog posts, etc.
-Participate in and contribute to peer code reviews and project stand-ups.

What You Need for this Position
What we’re looking for:
-At least 2 years of hands-on Drupal development experience.
-A strong background in web content management systems, object-oriented design, and creation of and adherence to best practices. Drupal, ---PHP and general application development experience will be essential.
-Good working knowledge of SQL.
-Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax and XML.
-Experience working with REST web services.
-Familiarity with developing responsive web and/or mobile applications.
-Familiarity with Git and GitHub pull request workflows.
-Experience with agile methodologies is desirable.
-Familiarity with Sass/Compass is a plus.
Some other important traits:
-Since we are a distributed team, strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are of the utmost importance.
-The ability to brainstorm ideas, do research, remain current with industry trends and best practices.
-Enthusiasm, personality, teamwork and a positive attitude count tremendously.
