Title: Project Manager
Client: BCBSIL(HCSC)
Location: downtown Chicago, IL(Michigan and Randolph)
Duration: Contract to hire as early as 3 months!!!
  • Must be Scrum Certified
  • Manage financials within the project
  • Must be comfortable presenting to management
  • Proficient in using Agile techniques
  • All PM's in this program are contractor's have to have had very strong relationship with customer's, VP's, Sr Director's, Managers
  • Experience with planning, governance, strategic planning, outlining scope for the year, working closely with the business side, strong governance model Exp with claims, operations
  • They will be supporting blue chip area, enrollment
  • They have to be flexible to changes, be able to work within a rigid process environment with rigorous review
  • Someone who can work with risk mitigation, very critical business rebuilding of new IT components
  • Working with IT initiatives, will be working in a program that has 8 PM's of large projects and 6 PC's Each PM has 12 projects
  • This is a 37 million dollar program Very structured
  • Be able to plan deliverables and adapt to new processes
Overview on desired candidate:
Project Manager, PMO background, Position Description: For medium complexity initiatives, the following skills/experience is required: project planning & design, systems development life cycle, estimating, project tracking, resource management, change management, risk management, coaching, negotiating, influencing, budget & financial planning & tracking, problem solving, relationship management, scope management, issue management, facilitation, effective communication, executive level status reporting, Clarity (Open Workbench). The following skills are required for projects run out of the IT PMO: PMP certification is a nice to have. They also appreciate Agile Methodology and need Scrum certification.
