Role Definition:


Client is seeking a Business Analyst. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Work closely with Telecom business, IT groups to provide timely and cost effective solutions for various business needs in BSS Ordering arena
Lead and own Solution definition and details including solution architectural direction for the end to end proposal for a set of business requirements
Ensure solution is complete in all respects and is aligned with long-term architectural direction
Be able to explain Solution breakdowns and Estimate details to the customer
Proactively identify any design gaps and take remedial steps. Identify scope creeps and new requirements and help with the change request process
Work closely with other applications to ensure integration points are handled correctly and close any gaps in initial stages of development process
Ownership and Accountability for architectural, functional and technical aspects of Ordering and Care applications on assigned projects
Establish and leverage close working relationship with Customers Account managers, Delivery managers and technical leads
Create and Lead Business and System requirements for the Ordering systems
Work with several internal and external teams in a highly matrix environment suring timely communications and feedback to ensure timeliness of deliverables
Oversight on the operational aspects related to a new solution/project

Critical Experiences and skills:

7+ years of experience in designing complex customizations on Telecom Ordering and Care systems in a customer facing role
6+ years of in depth knowledge of CRM and OMS components with detailed knowledge of implementation at a major service provider
5+ years of prior experience in direct customer facing roles such as Business Analyst, Solution Architect, Implementation and Operations etc
Blend of Business orientation as well as technical expertise in Customer and Order management domain
Excellent communication skills both Oral and Written
Full Responsiveness, sensitivity and accountability to Customer
5+ years of exposure to design and development best practices, Agile experience preferred
