Title: Software Sales Representative (1002-1)
Location: North Bay / Marin, CA
Compensation: Base salary plus commission

Summary:
Leading provider of sales analytics/market intelligence/mobile solutions for the asset management industry seeks a Sales Representative with prior financial services experience—ideally at a Mutual Fund Company or in a role selling products and services to Mutual Fund companies. The firm’s product suite provides a competitive advantage to asset management firms by providing:
•       Enterprise-wide visibility across distribution channels/product lines/geographic territories
•       Ability to drill-down into specific market segments and perform detailed market/competitive analysis
•       Immediate, real-time access to business critical information which can be acted upon to identify new business opportunities/focus resources/reduce costs/prevent redemptions/increase sales growth

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the full sales cycle including cold-calling to generate new opportunities/qualifying prospects/performing product demonstrations/contract negotiation/closing deals
Promote firm's product suite/mobile apps to prospective customers in the asset management industry
Identify new sales opportunities
Demonstrate product capabilities
Drive opportunities through the sales process to close new software licensing/services opportunities
Some account management responsibilities
Sell to C-level/senior executives in the asset management industry

Requirements:
Experience selling SaaS software, especially to C-level decision makers in asset management organizations, specifically Mutual Fund firms
Asset Management industry experience, particularly within a mutual fund firm or firm with multiple mutual fund companies as clients
Strong product demonstration/presentation skills; must be able to demo product suite and communicate product features/business value to prospects
Proven track record in identifying/closing new business opportunities
Ability to independently direct activities to meet sales goals
Strong negotiating/closing skills
Ability to multi-task/prioritize/manage time effectively
Excellent verbal/written communications skills
Team player with high degree of enthusiasm for software licensing sales
Conduct software demonstrations via WebEx or meetings
Document activities in the CRM tool and provide reports to management
Some travel required
