TITLE: Senior HR Generalist (183-4)
LOCATION: Chicago
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience

SUMMARY:
Private Equity firm seeks a Senior HR Generalist who will report to the Head of Human Resources and work in a collaborative environment supporting human capital activities associated with over 100 employees across multiple countries and offices worldwide. The focus of the role will vary throughout the year based on the cyclical nature of the team’s activities. The role incorporates a blend of compensation planning/execution, recruiting and onboarding, reporting and communications, as well as process/systems development and implementation to advance priorities of the team/firm. This role serves as an HR Business Partner to all areas of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compensation:
Market data collection/mapping/benchmarking (from both a quantitative/qualitative perspective)
Data tracking/reporting
Financial modeling/analysis
Development of employee summary statements and manager/executive reports

Recruiting:
Management of applicant tracking system
Development of accurate/compliant job descriptions
Sourcing/screening candidates, leveraging direct recruitment methods when applicable
Tracking/reporting search statistics and financial implications

Other activities include (but are not limited to):
Employee relations/organizational development
Information management/compliance
Onboarding/Off-boarding
Training coordination
Financial tracking/reporting

REQUIREMENTS:
9+ years of Human Resources experience; Investment Management industry experience required
3+ years in Compensation with international exposure
Bachelor’s degree required: Finance or Accounting degree strongly preferred (or extensive coursework)
Recruiting experience in a professional services environment
Highly organized, able to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment, detail oriented
Technical skills required: expert level MS Word and Excel, financial modeling, experience with applicant tracking systems and financial tracking
Intellectual curiosity and interest in the private equity investment management industry
