Broker Service Representative, Elmhurst

Title: Broker Service Representative (1001-2)
Location:  Elmhurst, IL
Compensation:  Commensurate with experience

Summary/Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls as well as monitor incoming emails and faxes;
Research and provide information as requested;
Act as liaison between Financial Advisors (FA's) and numerous departments within the company to handle requests and to resolve problems;
Receive, track, and resolve all customer service requests from FAs;
Comprehend complex functions and procedures and disseminate that information in a clear and precise manner to others;
Work in a fast-paced, high call volume environment while maintaining accurate, complete, and high quality work in a timely manner;
Effectively handle difficult customer service situations;
Prepare and maintain confidential records and reports;
Self-motivated team player and individual contributor.

Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of financial services industry experience;
FINRA licensed preferred;
Previous customer service experience within a financial services organization required;
Brokerage Operations experience required;
Excellent relationship building and communication skills, both oral and written;
Strong PC skills including knowledge of MS Office Products and Internet preferred;
