Client Service Associate (Lombard)

Title: Client Service Associate (0140-3)
Location: Lombard, IL
Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Summary/Responsibilities:
Produce/complete/track all paperwork associated with advisory accounts from initial account set-up through completion of transfer of assets, as well as client meetings/on-going service
Coordinate day-to-day operational work
Work well in a team environment
Help Financial Advisors prepare for initial/ongoing client appointments
Answer incoming client service calls regarding accounts
Provide ongoing service (in person or phone at advisor’s request) in accordance with company and vendor policies/practices/services
Update/enter all client notes in client relationship management database as he/she works on each client file
Oversee rollovers/account transfers/account distributions
Maintain contact with clients/vendors through confirmation that all accounts have been opened and transfers have been completed and reports out to Advisor
Ongoing maintenance of client files (hard and electronic)
Discuss client concerns with Financial Advisor - keep him/her apprised of any issues

Requirements:
Previous experience in a securities back office, or customer service position in a securities-related or financial planning firm
Prior client service experience
Strong attention to detail
Excellent phone etiquette
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Familiarity with Charles Schwab platform and Tamarac Software a plus
