Summary:
Private institutional investment management complex consisting of an international team of researchers, traders and technologists who constantly work toward greater quantification and automation in the development of trading processes. Client is seeking a senior high-performance trading systems expert to lead a core development team in building a next-generation distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant, global and multi-asset trading system.
Responsibilities:
Solve real-world, complex problems with effective and innovative technology solutions
In partnership with other stakeholders, formulate an overall strategy, define product features and implement next-generation architecture
Provide technology and staff leadership, as well as hands-on software development contributions
Stay abreast of new technologies and spearhead best practices to ensure product quality and optimal performance and scalability
Requirements:
10+ years of hands-on coding experience building real-time, high-volume trading systems
Experience leading high performing teams of software developers
Have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Possess exceptional analytical and technology architecture skills
Be fluent in various programming languages/techniques including C/C++, Java and Python
Experience integrating third-party application components with in-house developed solutions
Experience with agile development practices and automated continuous integration frameworks
Have a working knowledge of Unix/Linux
Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent job experience
