Title: Scrum Master
Client: Leading Telecommunications Company
Type: W2 only, NO C2C
Length: 6-12 month contract opportunity
Location: Chicago, IL
 
ScrumMaster's Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partners with the Product Owner and Scrum Team to understand, identify, and document the business opportunity through non-ambiguous, testable stories
• Organize and facilitate sprint pre-planning, planning meetings, daily scrums, sprint reviews, sprint demo meetings and backlog grooming
• Maintain the product backlog and release plan
• Resolve impediments to team member s delivery commitments
• Track and report on team progress including both successes and failures
• Review and analyze results, assisting with issue resolution

Desired education and experience:

• Bachelor s degree with a technical major or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years leading Agile Scrum teams in a Scrum Master role
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Must understand Agile metrics and reporting techniques.
• Previous experience as Scrum Master planning and managing large projects

Highly Desired (not required):

• Project Management Institute certification or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Working understanding of JIRA and Mingle is a plus
